Cape Verde Hiking & Trekking on Santiago Island

Santiago is the most diverse hiking and trekking island of the Cape Verdes.

The hiking trips on Santiago are ideal for pleasure-hikers. Some may find the high alpine tours in the steep Ribeiras of Santo Antao or the steep ascents and descents along the slopes of the Pico de Fogo too exhausting. But also step-confident, experienced hikers, who are free from giddiness, will surely meet their challenges. And at the end a refreshing bath in the sea awaits them!

Route S03: Santiago Trekking on Cobbler's Horseshoe
7-day rucksack tour in the heart of Santiago's mountain world.
Particularities: Only for experienced and trained hikers; hikes with guide. A minimum of 2 participants is required for this tour. Group maximum: 10 participants. The route and accommodation is in the middle of the trip form the one described in Tour S02.
Transfers: you are responsible for arranging luggage transfer with Aluguer Collectif. Therefore, the ability to communicate and/or knowledge of the language (Portuguese, Spanish, French) is necessary.
